Welcome To Scartho Gateway Academy

Scartho Gateway Academy is part of the Lincolnshire Gateway Academies Trust. It will initially, be a small, yet inspiring primary school which caters for children between the ages of 5 and 11.

We are delighted to also offer up to 12 places in our Resource Specialist Provision called The Grove. The RSP is for pupils who have SEMH needs and require specialist provision to support them back into the mainstream classroom.

The school opens in September 2025. In the first year, there will be up to 15 children in Reception, 30 children in a mixed Years 1 and 2 class and 30 children in a mixed Years 3 and 4 class. The Grove will hold up to 6 children in the first year. The school will expand every year and eventually be a one-form-entry school of up to 210 pupils.

Scartho Gateway Academy is led by the Principal, Mrs Melanie Portlock and Assistant Principal, Mrs Sophia Berry.

All of the staff at Scartho Gateway are fully committed and highly motivated staff who work extremely hard to ensure our pupils learn in a stimulating environment and are happy and successful in their lives and wider community.

The values we uphold shape every aspect of what we do. They are embedded throughout our curriculum, our relationships and our daily life. Our vision is to fully prepare pupils for their secondary education and the world beyond, supporting them to grow and meet their full potential in all their endeavours. The staff at the academy have designed a curriculum that inspires, supports and challenges all learners to be creative and curious about the world they live in.

Throughout the first year, there will be a wealth of opportunities for us to liaise and work together. We welcome parents, carers and the community to inspire our learning of the wider world. We have an increasingly active presence on social media outlets to celebrate the achievements of our children.
