Scartho Gateway Academy Celebrates the Life and Achievements of Sir David Attenborough

Children at Scartho Gateway Academy have been busy celebrating the life and achievements of Sir David Attenborough in a variety of exciting and creative ways.

Pupils across the school spent time learning all about Sir David's incredible work with animals, nature, and the environment. They discovered how he has helped people around the world understand the importance of protecting wildlife and caring for our planet. The children were amazed to learn about the many documentaries he has created and the difference he has made to conservation over the years.

As part of the celebrations, some children created beautiful artwork while others wrote facts and timelines about his life ad achievements.

The school also celebrated the remarkable milestone of Sir David reaching 100 years old. Pupils discussed how his passion, kindness and dedication have inspired generations of people to appreciate the world around them. Many children shared their favourite animals and spoke about how they could make small changes to help the environment every day.
